Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Helena, Montana, where every session helps a patient regain independence and confidence. In this specialty role you’ll support therapists with targeted exercise programs, gait training, and functional activities that restore mobility and improve quality of life. Across the U.S., our multi-site program lets you grow professionally in diverse clinics and hospital settings, each with its own patient mix and workflow. In Helena you’ll join a collaborative, patient-centered community that values practical, compassionate care. You’ll also have opportunities to serve in other locations, broadening your clinical perspective. Montana is a vast outdoor classroom, and your workday can begin with clean air and an alpine view, followed by weekends spent exploring forests, rivers, and open skies. Separately, the state’s wonders—Glacier National Park, the Beartooth and Bridger ranges, and the Missouri River valley—invite weekend adventures.

Location benefits go beyond scenery. Helena offers a welcoming community, accessible clinics, and a supportive medical network focused on measurable outcomes. The city’s amenities and outdoor recreation complement a balanced professional life, helping you stay energized and focused. For those seeking variety, our program also places you in other regions across the country, enabling rotations through different settings, patient populations, and care models. This breadth builds your resume, strengthens decision-making, and expands your professional connections while preserving the core quality of life you value.

Role specifics and growth: you’ll implement treatment plans under PT supervision, guide patients through therapeutic exercises and manual techniques, prepare devices, and monitor responses while upholding safety standards. You’ll document progress in the electronic medical record, communicate with supervising therapists, and educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and activity modification. This is a gateway to deeper specialization in musculoskeletal rehab, geriatrics, neuromuscular re-education, or pediatrics as you gain experience. The travel format includes structured onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and access to continuing education resources, helping you advance while you explore new clinical environments.

Compensation and benefits: competitive weekly pay of $1,274 to $1,305, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. We provide housing assistance to ease relocation and daily logistics, and there may be a sign-on or performance bonus to recognize your commitment. Extension opportunities let you continue building relationships with facilities you enjoy, while additional assignments across the U.S. offer continued growth and variety. Total support includes 24/7 help while traveling with the company, so you’re never alone on the road.

Company values: we’re devoted to empowering our staff through clear career paths, mentorship, and a culture that emphasizes professional integrity, collaboration, and compassionate care. Expect a respectful, supportive environment where your ideas are heard, your skills are expanded, and your impact on patients’ lives is valued every day.
