Based in Solon, Iowa, with a start date of January 9, 2026, this multi‑week assignment offers a consistent schedule of 36 guaranteed hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $1,800 to $1,810. You’ll bring clinical excellence to a setting that values dignity, autonomy, and thoughtful care planning. While you focus on your residents, you’ll also have the chance to savor Iowa’s natural beauty and diverse communities—from tree-lined main streets and nearby parks to scenic lakes and charming countryside—that remind us why we care so deeply about the places we serve.

Solon is a welcoming hub with modern facilities, collaborative teams, and strong ties to family and community. The Iowa experience also opens doors to travel across the United States, letting you experience a spectrum of care environments—from bustling metropolitan facilities to quiet rural campuses—while maintaining a stable employment relationship. Whether you’re revisiting familiar cities or exploring new regions, you’ll benefit from support designed for travelers, including housing options and a comprehensive onboarding plan that respects your professional rhythm.

Role responsibilities center on safe, patient‑centered care for residents with complex needs. You’ll perform thorough nursing assessments, administer medications and therapies, monitor vital signs, manage wounds, and implement care plans designed to prevent complications and promote functional independence. You’ll collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members to coordinate care, document clearly in the electronic health record, and participate in rounds and care conferences. You’ll lead or support activities of daily living, promote fall prevention and infection control, and be prepared to provide palliative and end‑of‑life support with sensitivity and professionalism. The position offers substantial opportunities for growth within the LTC specialty, including enhanced competencies in dementia care, IV therapy, wound management, pain control, and care coordination. We also recognize leadership potential, with pathways to charge nurse roles, preceptorship for new hires, and ongoing education rewards.
