Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Lincoln City, OR
Contracted
Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery, stationed in Lincoln City, Oregon, where your expertise will accompany families through one of life’s most meaningful journeys. In this fast-paced obstetric environment you’ll blend clinical excellence with compassionate, family-centered care—from admission through delivery, recovery, and discharge. This assignment begins on December 10, 2025, with weeks of contract work and guaranteed 36 hours each week. You’ll join a team that values precision, communication, and empathy, while offering a work rhythm that supports your life outside the hospital. Beyond the bedside, you’ll have opportunities to broaden your skills in a region famed for its natural beauty, coastal charm, and welcoming communities that celebrate resilience and care.

Lincoln City offers a unique blend of small-town warmth and coastal adventure: long sandy beaches, fog-kissed cliffs, dramatic sunsets, and easy access to hiking, whale watching, and seafood delights. Working here means practicing in a modern maternity unit with supportive colleagues, specialized equipment, and evidence-based protocols that empower you to deliver safe, high-quality care. If you crave variety, the role also provides the option to rotate to other locations across the U.S., opening doors to different patient populations, regional obstetric practices, and new professional relationships—while preserving the security of a steady schedule and guaranteed weekly hours.

Your daily responsibilities center on labor support, fetal monitoring, delivery assistance, perioperative care when cesareans are required, newborn stabilization, and post-partum education for families. You’ll interpret fetal heart tracings, manage pain relief plans, coordinate with physicians, midwives, NICU teams, and lactation consultants, and advocate for patient- and family-driven decisions. The role offers clear opportunities for professional growth: pursue advanced perinatal skills, take on charge nurse responsibilities, mentor new graduates, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives that elevate outcomes, patient experience, and staff morale. Our compensation package reflects your nursing expertise, with a weekly pay range between $2,605 and $2,788, plus a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, and robust housing assistance designed to reduce relocation stress. Extension opportunities allow you to continue with the team and the community, with ongoing scheduling flexibility and access to our supportive resources.

From day one, you’ll benefit from comprehensive support, including 24/7 assistance from our traveling team. We’re with you through every shift, travel logistics, credentialing needs, and any challenges that arise, so you can focus on what you do best—delivering compassionate obstetric care. Our company is committed to empowering staff, offering clear career pathways, and fostering a collaborative, respectful environment where curiosity is encouraged, feedback is valued, and excellence is recognized. We invest in your development, celebrate diverse talents, and create opportunities for advancement that align with your goals—whether you’re deepening clinical expertise, assuming leadership roles, or transitioning to perioperative or education specialties within obstetrics.

Imagine the impact you can have when you combine your L&D expertise with Oregon’s unforgettable coast, or with other U.S. locations that align with your professional aspirations. If you’re ready to join a team that prioritizes your growth and well-being, apply now and take the next step toward a rewarding chapter as an L&D RN with guaranteed hours, competitive compensation, and meaningful support. Start date: 12/10/2025. Note: hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
