Embark on a meaningful, travel-conscious career as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a specialty designed to elevate patient mobility, independence, and quality of life. In this hands-on role, you’ll translate care plans into action—guiding patients through purposeful therapeutic exercises, balance and gait training, and functional activities that restore confidence in daily living. Based in Piscataway, New Jersey, you’ll join a compassionate team that values precision, empathy, and collaboration. This opportunity not only highlights your clinical finesse but also invites you to explore the Garden State and its picturesque corners—from the historic towns and serene parks of central New Jersey to the vibrant rhythms of nearby universities and cultural hubs. As you step into travel assignments, you’ll discover how your expertise can make a tangible difference in diverse clinical environments while building a broader professional horizon. And because this is a travel-forward program, you’ll have the chance to broaden your impact by working in multiple U.S. locations, enriching your clinical repertoire and your professional story.

Location Benefits: Piscataway sits at the heart of New Jersey’s dynamic healthcare corridor, offering convenient access to top-tier medical facilities, academic centers, and community clinics. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient and inpatient rehab settings, hearing firsthand how coordinated care accelerates recovery. The region’s rich mix of cultures, dining, and outdoor spaces enhances everyday life beyond the clinic—whether you’re enjoying a stroll along a riverside trail, exploring local museums, or taking short trips to shore towns and regional parks. For travel professionals, the beauty of this program lies in its breadth: the chance to practice in the Piscataway area while also extending your journey to varied locations across the United States. Each assignment brings new patients, new colleagues, and new possibilities to refine techniques, adapt approaches, and grow professionally, all supported by a network designed to keep you connected, informed, and confident. You’ll be backed by comprehensive 24/7 support from the company as you navigate assignments, ensuring you never face a challenging day alone, no matter where in the country you practice.

Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Physical Therapy Assistant in this travel-focused role, you’ll assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high‑quality rehabilitation services. Your responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and functional mobility; assisting with gait training, balance activities, and transfer techniques; preparing and operating therapeutic modalities and equipment; monitoring patient responses, noting progress, and communicating updates to the supervising PT; ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and documentation standards; and providing patient and family education to support at-home continuation of care. This position emphasizes ongoing professional growth within the specialty, with opportunities to deepen expertise in orthopedic and neurologic rehab, geriatrics, and pediatric adaptations as you gain hands-on exposure. You’ll have access to competitive benefits, including a weekly pay range of $1,294 to $1,382, housing assistance to ease travel logistics, and potential extension opportunities that allow you to continue building expertise with different teams and settings. A guaranteed 35 hours per week provides consistency and reliability as you plan your travel schedule. Start date is 01/26/2026, and the assignment spans a period of weeks, with flexible extension possibilities to suit your career trajectory. In addition to clinical support, you’ll receive robust program advantages such as a performance-based bonus structure, mentor-guided development, and access to continuing education resources that align with your goals as a PTA. You’ll never travel alone—24/7 support from our dedicated team is always available to assist with housing logistics, local onboarding, and real-time issue resolution, ensuring a smooth, confident experience wherever your assignments take you.
