Role specifics and benefits: As part of this assignment, you’ll lead and participate in comprehensive nursing care for adults in long-term care, including initial and ongoing assessments, care planning, medication administration, acute problem solving, pain management, wound and skin care, IV therapy within scope, and prevention of falls and infections. You’ll monitor residents’ progress, respond rapidly to changes in condition, and escalate concerns through the chain of command. You’ll document meticulously, educate families, coordinate with therapy and social work, and contribute to interdisciplinary rounds that drive personalized goals.
