As a traveling Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll assume key responsibilities that align with best-practice standards. Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, resonance, cognitive-communication, and swallowing assessments; interpret results and establish evidence-based, individualized treatment plans; implement therapy across a spectrum of ages and etiologies; monitor progress and adjust plans to maximize outcomes; document precisely in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements. You’ll coordinate with families, caregivers, teachers, physicians, and other members of the care team to ensure consistent, goal-driven care, and you’ll educate caregivers on strategies to reinforce therapeutic gains at home and in daily life.
