Step into a purpose-driven role as a Speech Language Pathologist and shape lives through therapeutic communication. This weeks-long travel opportunity places you at the heart of patient-centered care, allowing you to influence diverse communities while advancing your clinical expertise in speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Starting March 9, 2026, you will embark on a journey that blends clinical autonomy with robust support, enabling you to deliver evidence-based interventions, measure outcomes, and inspire confidence in patients and families alike. Beyond the rewarding work, you’ll discover the beauty of Pennsylvania’s landscapes—from the rolling farmland surrounding Chambersburg to the historic corridors of nearby Gettysburg and the tranquil trails along the Susquehanna. Pennsylvania offers a tapestry of outdoor recreation, welcoming neighborhoods, and vibrant seasons that make every week feel meaningful. This opportunity is designed for a dedicated clinician who thrives in dynamic settings, embraces collaboration, and is eager to broaden impact across age groups and care environments.
Location Benefits: Based in Chambersburg, PA, this traveling role offers the charm of a close-knit town with everyday conveniences, solid community connections, and convenient access to outdoor adventures. Chambersburg’s walkable downtown, strong schools, parks, and family-friendly amenities create a balanced routine that supports professional focus and personal well-being. In addition to serving in this location, the assignment provides the flexibility to work across multiple sites nationwide, exposing you to a range of pediatric and adult caseloads, school programs, outpatient clinics, and hospital-based services. The breadth of settings delivers diverse clinical challenges, expands your professional network, and enriches your assessment and treatment approaches. Housing assistance is provided to ease transitions between assignments, while competitive compensation reflects your expertise and the value you bring to each patient encounter. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—a grounded community experience in Chambersburg with the opportunity to explore many U.S. locales over the course of your contract.
Role Specifics and Benefits: This role centers on delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services within a coordinated, multidisciplinary framework. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations of communication and swallowing disorders, diagnosing and prioritizing treatment needs, designing individualized therapy plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions across diverse populations. You’ll monitor progress with objective measures, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes in compliance with licensing and agency standards. Collaborating with families, educators, physicians, and other therapists is integral to ensuring holistic care and maximizing functional communication and safe swallowing. Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and contribution to program development support ongoing professional growth within the specialty. The position emphasizes experiential learning across settings, with exposure to different pediatric and adult presentations, bilingual or multicultural considerations, and evolving assistive technology usage.
Benefits include a competitive weekly pay range of $2,316–$2,370 for 35 guaranteed hours per week, a structured bonus component recognizing performance and tenure, and comprehensive housing assistance to offset relocation and temporary housing needs. Extension opportunities are available at the end of the initial period, enabling continuity for clinicians who demonstrate impact, compatibility with teams, and commitment to service excellence. You’ll also gain access to ongoing continuing education, clinically focused resources, and clear pathways for advancement within the organization. 24/7 support is provided while traveling with the company, including access to a dedicated travel liaison, scheduling specialists, credentialing support, and real-time problem resolution to ensure smooth travel logistics, clinician safety, and uninterrupted patient care. This combination of structured support and professional autonomy is designed to empower you to deliver the best outcomes for your patients while maintaining a satisfying, sustainable work rhythm.
