Location benefits: Albuquerque offers a vibrant community with accessible amenities, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive network for caregivers. The city’s friendly neighborhoods and outdoor-focused lifestyle create an ideal backdrop for sustained clinical excellence. You’ll enjoy proximity to medical resources, continuing education options, and opportunities to connect with seasoned colleagues who share a commitment to compassionate geriatric care. For those who love variety, this program also provides the possibility to work in additional locations across the United States, expanding your clinical horizon while you maintain a stable base in New Mexico. Role specifics and benefits: As an LPN in Long-Term Care, your daily responsibilities will center on delivering high‑quality, individualized care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You’ll administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents’ conditions, manage wound care and diabetic protocols, and assist with clinical tasks such as charting, vital signs, and timely documentation. You’ll support skilled assessments, participate in care planning conferences, and help implement and adjust plans to maximize comfort and function. Your role also includes assisting with activities of daily living—bathing, grooming, nutrition, mobility, and restorative therapies—while fostering independence and preserving residents’ autonomy. Effective communication with families, care teams, and interdisciplinary staff is essential to ensure consistent, coordinated care across shifts. You’ll have opportunities for professional growth within long‑term care, including access to specialty certifications in geriatric care, leadership pathways, and continuing education that aligns with your career goals.

While hours may vary and guaranteed hours are set at 0.0, we strive to provide you with consistent, meaningful engagement and the chance to extend your contracts should your schedule and the facility’s needs align. In addition to pay, you’ll have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes housing assistance for eligible assignments and a bonus program that recognizes performance, reliability, and commitment to resident well‑being. We understand that travel can be demanding, so 24/7 support is available to you while you’re on assignment, ensuring you have dependable clinical and logistical help whenever you need it. Finally, you may find extension opportunities at the end of each assignment, allowing you to continue growing within the same or new settings as you and the organization see fit.
