Role Specifics and Benefits: As an ICU RN on assignment, you’ll oversee critically ill patients requiring vigilant monitoring and advanced support. Your duties will include ventilator management, invasive hemodynamic assessment, vasopressor and inotrope titration, arterial and central line care, complex medication administration, sedation protocols, infection control, and rapid response when patient status changes. You’ll perform comprehensive rounds, interpret complex data, and translate it into actionable care plans, while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. You’ll mentor less experienced staff, share evidence-based practices, and pursue professional growth through specialty certifications, leadership opportunities, and hands-on learning in diverse ICU environments.
