Embark on a transformative travel nursing opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Chariton, Iowa, beginning December 10, 2025. This is more than a contract—it's a chance to touch lives every day, mentor care teams, and elevate your practice in a setting that honors your expertise. In LTC, your leadership shines as you advocate for seniors, coordinate care plans, and guide teams through complex transitions. As you envision the impact you can have, picture the welcoming rhythm of rural Iowa, where small-town charm, local cafes, and community events create a supportive backdrop for meaningful work. And for those craving new horizons, this role also opens opportunities to work in various locations across the U.S., broadening your professional experience while you continue delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Chariton sits in the heart of Iowa with affordable living, safe neighborhoods, and access to parks, trails, and cultural offerings that enrich your downtime. Your primary responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, implementation of care plans for residents with chronic conditions, wound and medication management, administration of IV therapies, and close collaboration with physicians, therapists, and social services. You’ll oversee and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants, ensure accurate documentation, and lead care conferences that align clinical goals with resident preferences. The role is designed to foster professional growth within long-term care, with exposure to dementia care, palliative considerations, falls prevention, and rehabilitation collaboration. The package includes competitive compensation with weekly pay in the range of 1,938 to 2,052 dollars, reflecting your experience and specialty focus, along with bonus opportunities and housing assistance to support a smooth transition. Extension opportunities let you tailor the assignment length to your career goals, while guaranteed 36 hours per week provide predictability in your schedule. You’ll also benefit from 24/7 support from our travel program—dedicated guidance, real-time problem solving, and a friendly voice whenever you need it, whether you’re navigating a shift change or adjusting to a new facility.
