Embark on a transformative opportunity as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where your expertise will shape patient outcomes and elevate care across a dynamic hospital setting. As a trusted member of the respiratory care team, you’ll deliver advanced therapies, monitor responses, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists. Your work will span ventilator management, airway clearance, non-invasive ventilation, aerosol therapies, bronchodilator strategies, and oxygen delivery—critical interventions that support patients through surgery recoveries, COPD exacerbations, trauma cases, and complex medical conditions. The impact you make goes beyond the bedside: you’ll mentor peers, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of evidence-based care. This travel assignment blends professional discovery with personal growth in a state known for its open spaces, welcoming communities, and a rich blend of outdoor recreation and cultural life. From pristine trails and scenic winter landscapes to vibrant town events and culinary offerings, North Dakota offers a backdrop where dedicated professionals can recharge after meaningful shifts.
Location Benefits: Grand Forks offers a supportive medical ecosystem anchored by reputable facilities, modern technology, and a community that values both clinical excellence and work-life balance. You’ll enjoy access to comprehensive resources, continuing education opportunities, and a collegial environment where interdisciplinary collaboration thrives. For those who crave variety, the assignment also opens pathways to work at partner sites across the United States, exposing you to different hospital cultures, patient populations, and care protocols. This flexibility lets you broaden your clinical repertoire while maintaining guaranteed hours and predictable weekly compensation. In addition, you’ll benefit from a competitive compensation package, housing assistance to ease transition, and the option to extend your time with the program if you wish to deepen your expertise or take on broader responsibilities. The region’s cost of living is reasonable, and the local community welcomes newcomers with a friendly, supportive network that helps you settle in quickly—whether you’re exploring the Red River’s riverwalks, enjoying a summer festival, or discovering the region’s many parks and libraries.
Role Specifics and Benefits: In this assignment, you’ll apply your RRT expertise to assess patient status, calibrate and manage ventilators, optimize oxygen therapy, and implement airway clearance strategies tailored to each patient’s needs. You’ll interpret arterial blood gases, titrate therapies as patient responses dictate, and collaborate with the care team to adjust plans for weaning and extubation when appropriate. You’ll lead or participate in transport and rapid response activities, document thoroughly in the patient record, and ensure equipment safety and infection control standards are upheld. There’s ample room for professional growth—from expanding into pediatric or neonatal-focused services to pursuing specialty certifications or leadership responsibilities within the respiratory care department. Our program emphasizes a strong support structure: dedicated 24/7 assistance while you’re traveling with the company, on-call clinical specialists, and a responsive recruitment and operations team ready to address needs as they arise. In addition to competitive pay (Weekly pay: $2,377-$2,508) and guaranteed 36 hours per week, you’ll have access to a sign-on or completion bonus where applicable, housing stipends or provided housing, and potential extension opportunities that let you stay longer with a smooth, seamless transition. You’ll also receive orientation, ongoing clinical mentoring, and technology-enabled resources designed to help you adapt quickly to each site’s protocols and equipment—all aimed at helping you maintain clinical confidence and deliver patient-centered care with compassion.
Company Values and Call to Action: Our organization is built on a commitment to empowering staff—valuing your expertise, recognizing your contributions, and supporting your professional development at every stage. We believe in a collaborative, inclusive culture where continuous learning is encouraged, feedback is welcomed, and patient outcomes guide every decision. Take the next step to apply and embark on a rewarding journey that respects your dedication and elevates your clinical practice. Start date is 03/23/2026, with assignment durations measured in weeks and the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
