Albuquerque, NM
Contracted
Skies HC and Rhb Ctr
Mid Level
Step into a rewarding career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care with a dynamic travel opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role is designed for compassionate professionals who want to make a tangible difference in residents’ daily lives while enjoying the option to explore new environments. Begin your assignment on 12/12/2025, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and competitive weekly pay ranging from $860 to $941. The duration is measured in weeks, giving you flexibility and continuity to build meaningful relationships with residents and teams. This position not only emphasizes clinical excellence but also supports your personal and professional growth through extensive resources, housing assistance, and developmental opportunities.
Albuquerque is a city that blends sunlit skies, a vibrant arts scene, and easy access to outdoor adventures. Imagine mornings spent viewing the Sandia foothills from a shaded patio, afternoons exploring the historic old town, and weekends savoring New Mexican cuisine and wide, open spaces. Beyond the city lights, the state of New Mexico offers breathtaking landscapes—from red rock mesas to high desert vistas and starlit skies perfect for quiet reflection after a fulfilling day of caregiving. For those who crave variety, this program also provides opportunities to place your skills across multiple locations in the United States, immersing you in diverse care settings while maintaining a core commitment to outstanding patient-centered care. You’ll gain insight into different care cultures, expand your clinical toolkit, and return with fresh perspectives that strengthen your practice and your resilience.
In this LTAC/LPN role, you’ll provide essential bedside care for residents, support daily living activities, monitor vitals, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans. Your day-to-day duties include wound assessment and management within scope, catheter and ostomy care when appropriate, mobility and transfers with safety as a priority, pain management, and effective communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Documentation, accurate charting, and adherence to regulatory standards will be second nature as you help ensure safe, consistent care. The position offers strong opportunities for professional growth: you’ll gain exposure to advanced wound care, infection control practices, and patient safety protocols, with pathways to certification support, leadership development, and expanded responsibilities as you demonstrate clinical excellence and collaborative leadership. To complement clinical duties, you’ll have access to temporary housing assistance and a generous array of benefits designed to ease transitions, including potential extension opportunities with ongoing placements.
Compelling benefits accompany every assignment. In addition to a competitive rate that reflects your expertise, you’ll receive a guaranteed 36 hours per week, ensuring reliable income as you plan your schedule. A sign-on style of bonus, if available, recognizes your experience and readiness to contribute from day one. Housing assistance is available to help you settle in quickly, letting you focus on patient care rather than logistics. Because travel can be demanding, you’ll have 24/7 support from a dedicated travel team and on-site clinical leadership, ensuring you’re never alone when you need guidance, updates, or a quick problem-solving conversation. The program also emphasizes extension opportunities: many nurses stay on as they discover new facilities, build lasting relationships with colleagues, and advance within the company to roles that leverage your growing expertise and leadership potential.
The company’s core values center on empowerment, ongoing professional development, and a supportive, respectful work environment. You’ll be part of a culture that believes in investing in staff through mentorship, skill-building opportunities, and clear pathways for advancement. The team values your input, respects your expertise, and collaborates to create a work atmosphere where you can thrive—knowing your contributions have a direct impact on residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. Whether you’re seeking to expand your clinical competencies, aspire to take on charge nurse responsibilities, or simply want a stable, growth-oriented setting, this assignment is designed to propel you forward.
