Embark on a dynamic travel opportunity as a Surgical Tech in Missouri, with a base in Columbia that puts you at the heart of a vibrant community and the pace of cutting-edge operating rooms. Starting February 23, 2026, this role invites you to contribute your precision, teamwork, and meticulous aseptic technique to a range of cases while you expand your clinical horizons across a landscape that blends Midwestern charm with modern healthcare excellence. This is more than a temporary assignment—it's a pathway to deepen your impact, master advanced instrumentation, and advance alongside seasoned teams that value your expertise. And while you’ll be rooted in a welcoming Columbia setting, the flexibility of travel means exploring diverse surgical environments across the United States, gaining exposure to a breadth of procedures and patient populations.

Columbia, Missouri, offers a compelling backdrop for professional fulfillment and personal growth. Picture a community known for its university energy, cultural offerings, and access to outdoor amenities that showcase Missouri’s scenic heartland—from rolling hills and scenic byways to waterways and parks perfect for downtime after demanding shifts. Working in this location means fewer barriers to a high quality of life, with a supportive local network of healthcare professionals and opportunities to experience the region’s unique blend of urban amenities and small‑town hospitality. And for travel professionals craving variety, you’ll have the chance to extend your expertise and relocate to additional locations across the U.S., expanding your professional footprint while maintaining the dependable rhythm of a weekly schedule.

In this Surgical Tech role, you’ll be at the center of the operating room team, ensuring every procedure proceeds with precision and patient safety. Core responsibilities include preparing and handling sterile instruments, setting up the sterile field, passing instruments to surgeons with impeccable timing, and assisting with wound closure and specimen handling as required. You’ll meticulously adhere to aseptic techniques, manage instrument tray turnovers, and support the surgeon and OR nurses to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes. Beyond the table, you’ll participate in equipment checks, inventory management, and the accurate documentation of case details to support continuity of care. Your role is not only technical but collaborative—contributing to preoperative setups, positioning, and immediate post-operative care plans as they unfold. This is a chance to refine your hands-on skills across a diverse array of procedures, while cultivating professional growth and confidence in higher‑stakes environments.

We emphasize competitive benefits designed to recognize your value and support your ambitions. This travel assignment offers a weekly pay range of $775–$801, reflecting the skilled expertise you bring to the table. There is a signing or performance-based bonus opportunity to recognize your commitment, paired with housing assistance to help you settle quickly and comfortably as you transition between sites. An important note: hours can vary week to week, and there are no guaranteed minimum hours on this assignment, but you’ll have clear opportunities to extend your contract and to apply for rotations that align with your preferences and career goals. You’ll also gain access to consistent, 24/7 support from our dedicated travel team, ready to assist you with housing, travel needs, or on‑the‑road challenges—so you can focus on clinical excellence and patient care.

Our company values empower you to advance your career within a supportive, collaborative environment.
