Role specifics and benefits: In this Labor and Delivery RN role, you’ll partner with physicians, midwives, nurses, and neonatal staff to ensure comprehensive obstetric care for laboring patients and their newborns. Key responsibilities include initial and ongoing maternal assessments, continuous fetal monitoring, labor support, analgesia administration, assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, rapid neonatal assessment, resuscitation readiness, lactation support, and thorough patient and family education.
