Your meticulous approach, adherence to rigorous safety standards, and collaborative spirit will directly influence diagnostic decisions and treatment plans for diverse patient populations. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to contribute to a community-centered lab that values precision, compassion, and professional growth. California is a land of contrasts and beauty, offering inspiration at every turn—from the rolling vineyards and scenic foothills of the Salinas Valley to the rugged coastlines and misty mornings along Monterey Bay. Between shifts, you can explore Pinnacles National Park’s striking rock formations, hike tranquil trails through the agricultural heartland, or take in a sunset over the Pacific. These landscapes aren’t just backdrops; they’re part of a lifestyle that sustains your energy, focus, and curiosity.

Location Benefits: King City provides a welcoming, tight-knit community with easy access to outdoor recreation and cultural experiences. The Central Coast combines a relaxed pace with modern amenities, excellent schools, and a growing network of healthcare professionals. In this role you can also expand your professional footprint by collaborating with colleagues across state lines, gaining broader exposure to instrument platforms, novel assays, and information systems that enhance diagnostic precision.

Role Specifics and Benefits: In this assignment you’ll operate core laboratory instrumentation, perform immunoassays, hematology, biochemistry, and microbiology testing as assigned, maintain strict quality control, run calibration and proficiency testing, document results in the LIS, and participate in case reviews with clinicians and pathologists. You’ll troubleshoot instrument issues, ensure specimen integrity, manage pre-analytical variables, and uphold safety and regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, OSHA) in a fast-paced environment. The role offers tangible opportunities for professional growth—leading quality improvement projects, cross-training on advanced analyzers, and pursuing certifications aligned with clinical laboratory science. We recognize the value you bring, so you’ll receive a competitive compensation package with a weekly pay range of $1,803–$1,953, plus a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities for ongoing assignments. The program provides robust support, including 24/7 assistance while traveling with our company, access to dedicated travel coordinators, and a network of on-site mentors to help you acclimate and thrive from day one.
