Role specifics and benefits: As an L&D RN, you’ll provide expert evidence-based care through labor support, continuous fetal monitoring, admission assessments, analgesia and anesthesia coordination, postpartum education, and newborn stabilization when necessary. You’ll lead patient advocacy, collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal teams, and anesthesia providers, and contribute to readiness for emergency scenarios; you’ll also mentor junior staff and students when available.
