Embark on a rewarding journey as a Travel Physical Therapist in the Lewistown region of Missouri, where every patient story is a chance to restore independence and joy through movement. As a Physical Therapist with this specialty, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions, guiding them toward meaningful participation in daily life. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff in a community that values compassionate care, innovation, and hands-on expertise. Imagine the impact you can make as you blend clinical excellence with the warmth of a Midwestern town, where neighbors become colleagues and every treatment plan is tailored to the person.

Missouri offers scenic valleys, rolling plains, and outdoor adventures that energize your days off. Lewistown itself provides a quiet, friendly pace, rural charm, and access to family-friendly amenities. When you’re not in the clinic, you can explore nearby rivers, parks, and trails, or visit larger cities within a short drive for cultural experiences, dining, and events. You will document outcomes accurately, communicate adjustments to the care team, and educate patients and families on exercises, pacing, and safety. The position supports professional growth in orthopedics and general rehabilitation, with access to ongoing education, mentorship, and opportunities to pursue certifications that enhance your specialty practice. We offer competitive compensation that recognizes your expertise, including a sign-on bonus where applicable, and generous housing assistance to ease transitions to new locations. You’ll also have the potential for contract extensions based on performance, clinic needs, and your own career goals. Our travel program provides robust 24/7 support while you’re on assignment, ensuring you’re never alone on the road. You’ll have a dedicated travel coordinator, clinical mentors, and emergency contacts at your fingertips, helping you navigate paperwork, housing, and schedule changes with confidence.

We believe in recognizing expertise, encouraging autonomous clinical decision-making within evidence-based guidelines, and fostering teamwork that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives. You’ll find a culture that prioritizes learning, wellness, and work-life harmony, with resources to help you grow—from peer collaboration to access to the latest PT research and technology. We’re committed to helping you build a long-term career in rehabilitation, whether you choose to specialize further in musculoskeletal PT, neuromuscular rehab, or geriatrics, with pathways to leadership, education, and clinical excellence.
