On each assignment, you will evaluate patients, screen for functional limitations, and develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans. You’ll employ therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, gait and balance training, and activities that promote safe, independent living. Documentation, outcome tracking, and communication with physicians, nurses, and other therapists are core responsibilities, along with coordinating discharge planning and patient and caregiver education. The role offers ongoing professional growth within the physical therapy discipline, with access to specialized trainings, evidence-based protocols, and mentorship opportunities that keep you at the forefront of best practices.
