Role specifics and benefits: You will be the central clinical anchor for labor and delivery units, leading evidence-based practices, actively managing labor progression, assisting with obstetric emergencies, performing routine obstetric duties, and ensuring safe newborn stabilization and transition to postpartum care. You’ll participate in cesarean deliveries when needed, collaborate with anesthesia teams for pain management, and deliver culturally sensitive education on birth plans, lactation, postpartum recovery, and newborn care to families. The position emphasizes growth within the L&D specialty, offering pathways to advance into charge nurse roles, unit education, or mentorship positions based on performance and interest.
