- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions under supervision of an OT, including functional activities, therapeutic exercises, energy conservation strategies, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment recommendations tailored to each patient.
- Assess patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OT, PT, SLP, nursing) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and community reintegration.
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, energy management, fall prevention, and strategies to maintain independence.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and patient-centered care across inpatient, outpatient, or skilled settings.
