Role Specifics and Benefits: In Med Surg, you’ll deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care across a spectrum of medical and post-operative patients. Key responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, infection prevention, and escalation of clinical changes in collaboration with the medical team. You’ll coordinate discharge planning, reinforce patient and family education, and support safety initiatives that reduce readmissions.
