Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Nashua, NH
Contracted
The Courville at Nashua
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Occupational Therapist, delivering patient-centered care from a base in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, your OT expertise travels with you to diverse clinical settings where you assess functional needs, design individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic strategies that restore independence in activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and community participation. Each patient presents a unique canvas, and your evidence-based approach will adapt to inpatient units, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation programs across the region and beyond. You’ll partner with physicians, nurses, speech-language pathologists, and social workers to coordinate care, monitor outcomes, and celebrate progress that uplifts patients, families, and communities. For therapists who crave variety, professional growth, and the satisfaction of making an enduring difference, this travel OT opportunity offers a compelling path. And while you serve others, you’ll also have the chance to savor New Hampshire’s beauty—White Mountains air, scenic rivers and coastal towns, and a welcoming, pristine New England atmosphere that makes downtime feel rewarding.
Nashua offers a strong location advantage: urban conveniences paired with New England charm, easy access to Boston and a robust health network, and a rich menu of cultural events, dining, and outdoor recreation. The broader New Hampshire corridor provides exposure to diverse patient populations and evolving care models that sharpen clinical judgment and adaptability. For therapists seeking broader horizons, there is the option to work in additional locations across the United States through our travel network, gaining experience in different hospital systems, documentation workflows, and interprofessional collaboration that strengthen your resume and confidence.
In terms of role specifics and benefits, you’ll deliver comprehensive OT services to individuals needing support with self-care, mobility, home safety, cognitive rehabilitation, fine motor function, and adaptive equipment training. Your responsibilities include thorough initial and ongoing assessments, targeted goal setting, treatment planning, and progress documentation in a modern electronic medical record system. You’ll implement a broad spectrum of interventions—from therapeutic activities and assistive technology training to home modification recommendations and community reintegration plans—consistently aligning with best practices and specialty guidelines. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, participate in care planning conferences, and pursue opportunities for specialty growth within occupational therapy, including hand therapy, pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurorehabilitation as you prefer. The program offers competitive compensation, including a signing bonus, and housing assistance to ease relocation. There are extension opportunities that allow you to renew or expand your contract based on service demand and your performance. A cornerstone of the experience is 24/7 support from our dedicated travel team, ensuring you have real-time guidance, scheduling flexibility, and a reliable safety net while you’re on assignment. The guaranteed hours of 35 per week provide stability as you plan your personal and professional commitments, with weekly pay in the range of $1,611-$1,679. Start date is 01/12/2026, with a contract duration measured in weeks and potential extensions, enabling you to build a robust professional portfolio. While the numbers reflect typical ranges, final compensation packages and guaranteed hours are confirmed during the hiring process and may vary by location and credentials.
This role embodies a company culture that empowers staff, supports ongoing career advancement, and sustains a collaborative, supportive environment. You’ll have access to ongoing training, mentorship, and resources designed to help you grow into leadership opportunities while maintaining work–life balance.
