Great Barrington, MA

Powerback - Contract - Fairview Commons Nur -R08A66
Mid Level
Elevate your career as a Physical Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy in the scenic town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts. This is a distinctive opportunity to guide patients through meaningful recovery journeys, applying your expertise to restore mobility, reduce pain, and empower independence. Beginning January 19, 2026, for a multi‑week assignment, you will join a collaborative travel team that values precision, empathy, and evidence‑based practice. With 40 guaranteed hours per week and a competitive weekly pay range of $2,518 to $2,625, you can plan with confidence while focusing on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. This role challenges you to broaden your clinical repertoire across diverse populations, while supporting your professional development and personal growth.
Great Barrington sits in the heart of the Berkshire Hills, where each season reveals a different side of New England charm. You’ll enjoy walkable downtowns, farm‑to‑table dining, outdoor adventures from hiking and cross‑country skiing to kayaking, and easy access to cultural attractions in the Berkshires. The region’s beautiful landscapes foster a work‑life balance that sustains your energy during demanding therapy sessions. As a company traveler, you’ll also have the opportunity to work in other U.S. locations when your schedule allows, expanding your clinical exposure, building professional relationships, and discovering new communities while keeping a base in Massachusetts. Beyond the scenic climate, the Berkshires feature strong educational and healthcare resources, with partner universities, community clinics, and a network that respects clinicians’ need for ongoing learning. Nearby towns offer farmer markets, music festivals, and year‑round cultural events that enrich your off‑duty hours and deepen your connection to the region.
In this position, you’ll assess and treat patients across a broad spectrum of rehabilitation needs, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward functional goals. You’ll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated care, timely discharges, and consistent documentation. You’ll use evidence-based physical therapy modalities, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re‑education, and assistive devices, adapting plans to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. There is strong opportunity for professional growth within the specialty through mentorship, ongoing education credits, and exposure to orthopedic, geriatric, and neurologic rehabilitation. The package includes a competitive incentive bonus, housing assistance, and potential extension opportunities, with 24/7 support from our travel team and on‑site clinical leadership to address scheduling, documentation, and patient needs. You’ll also benefit from dedicated onboarding, ongoing performance feedback, and access to a wide network of peers who share best practices. You’ll also participate in ongoing outcomes measurement and quality improvement initiatives, helping to refine rehab pathways and share best practices with colleagues across the network. Our 24/7 support line and dedicated travel coordinators ensure you have dependable assistance for credentialing, housing logistics, and on‑site needs, so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.
Our organization is built on empowering its staff, encouraging ongoing career advancement, and fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment. We believe in transparent communication, respect for diverse backgrounds, and a commitment to clinician well‑being as much as patient care. You will be supported by a robust infrastructure—from clinical leadership and travel coordinators to flexible scheduling and resources that help you succeed on the road. We invest in your professional growth through education stipends, access to specialty certifications, and regular opportunities to broaden your PT practice within orthopedics, geriatrics, and community rehabilitation as your interests evolve. We also embrace innovation and collaboration—your insights into patient education, discharge planning, and prevention strategies are welcomed and appreciated, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professional pride. You will be encouraged to share ideas, mentor teammates, and participate in community outreach that strengthens both patient care and the overall health ecosystem.
