Travel Registered Nurse CCU Job

Scottsbluff, NE
Contracted
Regional West Medical Center
Mid Level
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This assignment places you at the heart of advanced cardiovascular care, where your expertise, calm leadership, and decisive actions can transform patient outcomes during some of the most challenging shifts. As you step into high-acuity environments, you’ll coordinate complex treatments, interpret invasive monitoring, manage ventilators, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to craft individualized plans that restore stability and hope. This role is more than a rotation; it’s an opportunity to sharpen your critical thinking, elevate your clinical leadership, and cultivate mentors who help shape the next generation of CCU professionals. While you dedicate yourself to exceptional care, take a moment to absorb the beauty of Nebraska’s expansive skies, the rolling plains, and iconic landmarks like Chimney Rock and Scotts Bluff National Monument, which offer a sense of wide-open possibility and a welcome respite after demanding shifts. This assignment begins on 02/18/2026 and runs for Weeks, with a guaranteed 36.0 hours per week and competitive compensation that recognizes your expertise and resilience.

Scottsbluff is a community that blends small-town warmth with big-city access to essential resources. Here, you’ll enjoy affordable living, convenient access to amenities, and a pace of life that respects your work-life balance. The region’s outdoor opportunities—from scenic trails along the North Platt and nearby reservoirs to weekend explorations of local parks—offer restorative experiences that replenish you for the next patient encounter. And for a healthcare professional who loves breadth in their career, this assignment also provides the chance to work in diverse locations across the U.S., expanding your professional network, exposing you to varied patient populations, and enriching your clinical perspective. Whether you’re seeking a short-term bridge between contracts or a longer arc of travel, this role accommodates growth while keeping you connected to a supportive, vibrant community.

In this CCU role, you’ll lead critical care delivery for patients with complex cardiovascular needs, including post-operative care, acute coronary syndromes, and hemodynamic instability. Core responsibilities include continuous patient assessment, telemetry interpretation, arterial and venous line management, ventilator support, and swift escalation of changes in status to the on-call team. You’ll partner with nurse colleagues, perfusionists, respiratory therapists, and physicians to implement evidence-based interventions, optimize patient trajectories, and mentor less-experienced staff through real-time coaching and debriefs. The position offers pathways for professional growth through specialty certifications, leadership development, and opportunities to broaden your scope within critical care—in a setting that values continuous learning. Benefits are designed to support you comprehensively: a sign-on bonus, housing assistance to ease transition, and the potential for contract extensions to fit your career plan. And because travel can be demanding, you’ll have 24/7 support from our dedicated team to ensure seamless operations, clinical consistency, and personal peace of mind while you’re on assignment.

Our company is grounded in empowering its staff to advance their careers within a supportive, teamwork-driven environment. We’re committed to helping you expand your clinical expertise, gain exposure to a range of CCU protocols, and build leadership capabilities that align with your long-term goals. You’ll join colleagues who value integrity, patient-centered care, and open communication, and you’ll receive ongoing resources—clinical ladders, mentorship, access to continuing education, and a culture that recognizes every contribution. The arrangement is designed to be more than a job: it’s a stepping-stone to mastering critical care in a dynamic, nationwide network that prioritizes your well-being and professional development.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact, to explore Nebraska’s scenic landscapes, and to advance your CCU expertise through travel across multiple facilities, we invite you to apply. This is your chance to join a company that respects your expertise, supports your growth, and invests in your success—today, tomorrow, and beyond.
