If you’re drawn to broader experiences, this assignment also provides the flexible opportunity to work in various NICU settings across the United States, expanding your clinical repertoire, connecting with peers, and learning distinct care models that heighten your neonatal expertise. Expect a supportive network that values your voice, respects your boundaries, and celebrates your professional growth as you bring the highest standard of neonatal care to every family you serve.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As a NICU RN on a travel assignment, you’ll lead direct patient care for neonates with a range of critical needs, including ventilator and incubator management, IV access, thermoregulation, nutrition support, and meticulous monitoring of vital signs and neurodevelopmental status. You’ll perform rounds with physicians and the broader team, participate in family education and discharge planning, administer medications and procedures with precision, and uphold strict infection control and safety protocols. You’ll be empowered to implement evidence-based practices, refine performance through performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with lactation consultants, social workers, and therapists to support optimal outcomes. This role offers clear pathways for professional growth within neonatology, including opportunities to advance clinical expertise, precept traveling nurses, and contribute to quality improvement projects. Benefits are designed to attract and retain exceptional talent: competitive weekly pay between 2,967 and 3,103, with 36.0 guaranteed hours per week, and a bonus structure that recognizes your commitment and clinical impact. Housing assistance is provided to ease relocation and daily living, and contract extensions are available for those who excel and wish to deepen their NICU experience with the same team. You’ll also benefit from comprehensive support services, including 24/7 assistance as you travel with the company, credentialing help, and streamlined onboarding to minimize downtime between assignments.
