Launch your next chapter as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care with a purpose-driven travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to forge meaningful relationships with residents, contribute to comfort-driven care plans, and support families as they navigate daily health needs. In long-term care, your steady hands, clinical judgment, and compassionate presence are the backbone of wellness, safety, and dignity. You’ll assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer medications, manage wounds, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to keep each resident thriving. Begin November 10, 2025, for a multi-week assignment that guarantees 36 hours per week, with a competitive weekly pay range and the flexibility that comes with travel healthcare. Let the vibrant landscape and culture of New Mexico complement your professional journey as you contribute where care matters most.

Albuquerque offers a dynamic base with access to urban amenities and outdoor adventures. Enjoy sunny days, scenic trails, and a thriving arts scene between shifts. Working in New Mexico also provides the chance to explore other locations across the United States through our travel program, experiencing diverse patient populations, facilities, and communities. From the Sandia Mountains to the region’s desert landscapes, you’ll find inspiring settings that broaden your clinical perspective and refresh your approach to patient care. When you’re not on assignment, you’ll be part of a network that supports you across state lines with resources, housing options, and ongoing professional development.

Core responsibilities center on delivering high-quality nursing care in a long-term care environment: administering medications safely, observing and reporting changes in conditions, executing individualized care plans, assisting with mobility and activities of daily living, and ensuring patient comfort and fall prevention. You’ll document meticulously, liaise with interdisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in performance-improvement activities. This role is designed for growth—opportunities to expand your scope within geriatrics, expand credentialed skills, and take on mentorship or supervisory tasks as you gain experience. Our package includes a competitive compensation package with a weekly pay range of $1,510 to $1,591, plus guaranteed hours of 36 per week. You’ll have access to housing assistance if you need it, and there are extension opportunities for continuing assignments to build continuity of care for residents and to grow within our travel network. You’ll receive comprehensive support from our travel team 24/7, ensuring you’re never alone on the road. In addition, you may be eligible for bonuses tied to assignment length, performance, or facility needs, designed to recognize your dedication and reliability.

At the core, our company is committed to empowering staff—investing in career advancement, ongoing training, and a supportive work environment that respects your professionalism and your work-life balance. We believe in transparent communication, fair scheduling, and a culture that treats every nurse as a trusted partner in resident well-being.
