- Core responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations of adults and seniors with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs. Design and implement individualized treatment plans emphasizing gait training, balance, strength, range of motion, functional mobility, and pain management. Progress patients through structured exercise programs, assistive device recommendations, and community reintegration strategies. Provide patient and caregiver education, document progress clearly in electronic health records, and collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing teams to optimize outcomes. Monitor recalibration of goals based on objective measures, adjust modalities as needed, and ensure safety and compliance throughout care delivery.
