Your key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, selecting, organizing, and handing instruments and implants, assisting with patient draping and setup, performing sponge and instrument counts, and promptly communicating with the surgical team to anticipate needs. You’ll uphold rigorous aseptic technique, manage equipment, assist with specimen handling, and contribute to efficient OR turnover after each case. The role offers meaningful opportunities for growth within the surgical tech specialty, including cross-training in areas such as neuro, ortho, and minimally invasive procedures, depending on facility needs and your interests. Compensation is competitive, with a weekly pay range of $1,238 to $1,320. The assignment begins on 01/05/2026 and runs for several weeks, with the potential for extension based on performance and facility requirements.
