Travel Social Worker Behavioral Health Job
Everett, WA
Contracted
Providence Regional Medical Center Everett Colby Campus
Mid Level
Begin a transformative journey as a Social Worker in Behavioral Health in Everett, Washington. This is more than a role; it’s a chance to partner with individuals, families, and communities to foster recovery, resilience, and renewed purpose. In this position you’ll blend clinical insight with compassionate advocacy, guiding clients through challenges toward hopeful futures. As you contribute, you’ll also be excited by the beauty of Washington — from glistening Puget Sound to evergreen forests and alpine vistas that invite reflection after a day of meaningful work.
Everett offers a vibrant, family-friendly setting with a thriving service ecosystem, access to outdoor recreation, and proximity to Seattle’s healthcare network. You’ll join teams that value collaboration, cultural humility, and evidence-based practice, with opportunities to work in other locations across the U.S. This mobility expands your clinical repertoire, exposes you to diverse populations, and strengthens your professional network while grounding you in a city that loves coffee, waterfront walks, and community events. You’ll find a supportive environment that understands the realities of behavioral health work and provides resources to help you grow while making a meaningful difference.
Your responsibilities will include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans, coordinating with schools, courts, clinics, and community agencies, and delivering crisis intervention when needed. You’ll utilize evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing, CBT-informed strategies, and trauma-informed care to support behavioral health goals, reduction of risk, and improved functioning at home, work, and school. You’ll document outcomes, drive discharge planning, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This role offers professional growth through mentorship, ongoing training, supervision for licensure as applicable, and opportunities to specialize in trauma, child and family services, or crisis leadership. Competitive benefits include a welcome bonus, housing assistance, and the potential for contract extension to align with agency needs and your career goals. You’ll receive comprehensive travel support, including 24/7 assistance from our dedicated team as you move between assignments, ensuring you’re never navigating a new setting alone. We prioritize work-life balance with predictable workflows and a supportive infrastructure that values your wellbeing as much as your clinical impact.
Our organization is committed to empowering social workers: investing in your professional development, recognizing contributions, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment where ideas improve care. You’ll find a culture of mentorship, peer learning, and clear pathways to advancement, helping you turn every assignment into a stepping stone in your career. You’ll join colleagues who celebrate curiosity, integrity, and service, and you’ll contribute to systems that honor the dignity and potential of every client you serve.
Ready to apply and begin on 03/16/2026? This assignment runs for multiple weeks with a weekly pay range of $1,724–$1,793, and a guaranteed hours clock of 0.0 hours when applicable.
