Role Specifics and Benefits
As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll provide essential, hands-on nursing care for residents requiring ongoing support with daily living activities, med administration within scope, and coordinated care plans under supervision of an RN. Key responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with activity of daily living, applying and updating care plans, performing routine wound care and dressings, managing catheter or ostomy care if applicable, documenting changes and communicating any concerns to the care team, administering prescribed medications within licensure guidelines, and contributing to fall prevention and safety initiatives.
