Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Santa Fe, NM

Casa Real
Mid Level
Embark on a transformative journey as a Registered Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is more than a job—it's a chance to deepen your impact on residents’ daily lives, support families, and lead compassionate, evidence-based care in a welcoming community surrounded by desert light, art, and mountains. Your assignment begins on December 1, 2025, for a dynamic number of weeks, with a weekly pay range of $996 to $1,051. While there are no guaranteed hours with this assignment, you’ll have the flexibility to extend based on patient needs and your performance, with opportunities to adjust the schedule as you grow with the team.
Location Benefits: Santa Fe blends rich cultural heritage with outdoor vitality. Picture mornings spent with coffee on a sun-washed patio, afternoons exploring the Plaza, and weekends hiking in the Sangre de Cristo foothills or skiing in nearby peaks. The city’s altitude offers clean air and bright skies, while a thriving arts scene, flavorful cuisine, and warm, community-focused neighbors make it easy to feel at home. Beyond Santa Fe, this program also offers assignments across locations in the U.S., enabling you to broaden your clinical experience, share best practices, and cultivate professional networks while enjoying the variety of settings—from small-town facilities to larger continuing-care environments. You’ll have access to robust housing support and a travel team dedicated to making your transition smooth, whether you stay in Santa Fe or explore different regions.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As a LTC Registered Nurse on this assignment, you will partner with physicians, therapists, and facility leadership to deliver person-centered care for residents who rely on skilled nursing, memory care, and restorative services. Core responsibilities include comprehensive assessments and timely care planning, administration and monitoring of medications, wound and infection control, IV therapy as prescribed, and adherence to regulatory standards and quality measures. You’ll lead changes that improve safety, reduce falls, and promote optimal pain management, mobility, nutrition, and hydration. Family communication and education are essential—your role includes transparent updates and discharge planning that aligns with the resident’s goals and preferences. There’s ample room for professional growth: you can deepen expertise in geriatric syndromes, pursue LTC certifications, precept new nurses, and assume leadership tasks within the unit. The position comes with a discretionary bonus, housing assistance, and clear extension opportunities if you want to extend your assignment and keep making an impact. 24/7 support is available as you travel with the company, including travel coordination, on-call nurse support, and a dedicated operations team ready to assist with shift changes, housing, licensure, and credentialing. You’ll be part of a collaborative network that values evidence-based practice, ethical care, and a compassionate approach to life in long-term care.
Company Values: Our partner organization is committed to empowering your career and nurturing a supportive work environment where you can grow from year to year. We invest in ongoing training, mentorship, competency development, and opportunities to lead quality improvement initiatives. You’ll be encouraged to combine clinical excellence with empathy, integrity, and respect for every resident’s dignity. A culture of recognition means your contributions—whether in daily rounds or special care programs—are acknowledged, and your voice helps shape safer, more effective care pathways.
