Mid Level
Begin a meaningful journey as a Speech Language Pathologist in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where your clinical expertise can transform communication, feeding, and quality of life for individuals across ages. This multi-week assignment starts on December 22, 2025, and offers 40 guaranteed hours per week, with competitive weekly pay from $2,473 to $2,546. As you provide assessment, treatment, and consultative services, you’ll collaborate with families, teachers, and medical teams to set attainable goals and measure progress. The role is designed for skilled clinicians who value autonomy within a supported network, ongoing learning, and the chance to broaden their practice in a dynamic travel setting. Beyond the clinical impact, you can also experience the beauty and culture of Massachusetts, a state known for coastal scenery, historic towns, and the rolling hills of the Berkshires, offering opportunities for exploration during and after your shifts.

Positioned in the Berkshire region, Pittsfield offers access to outdoor recreation, vibrant arts, and a welcoming community. You’ll benefit from a robust healthcare environment and collegial collaboration with hospital and clinic partners. For traveling clinicians, there is the potential to work in other locations across our national network, expanding your professional horizons while maintaining the security of a supportive employer. The combination of scenic landscapes, seasonal events, and proximity to cultural attractions—such as museums, theaters, and nearby mountains—creates a rich backdrop for a fulfilling assignment. Housing assistance is available to help you settle quickly, with options that respect your comfort and schedule.

In this traveling SLP role, you’ll conduct comprehensive language, speech, voice, fluency, and swallowing assessments; interpret results; and develop customized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practice and patient goals. You’ll implement therapy sessions across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, or hospital-based programs, and tailor interventions to developmental stages, etiologies, and cultural considerations. You’ll document progress in the electronic health or school record systems, collaborate with family members and teachers, and prepare discharge summaries. You’ll advance professionally by engaging in ongoing education on pediatric, adult, or gero-logic communication needs, staying current with best practices for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and feeding/swallowing management. You’ll have access to a dedicated support team and 24/7 assistance while traveling, ensuring you never navigate complex cases alone. The position offers a competitive package, with potential bonuses, housing assistance, and the option to extend assignments based on performance and program needs. You’ll also benefit from mentorship opportunities, structured orientation, and a culture that values evidence-based care, patient-centered outcomes, and collaborative problem-solving. The hours are guaranteed at 40 per week, with flexible scheduling possibilities within the assignment’s framework. We note that the hours and pay rates are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Our organization is committed to empowering clinicians, prioritizing career growth, a collaborative culture, and a healthy work-life balance. We invest in your professional journey with training, leadership pathways, and opportunities to specialize in pediatric, adult, or geriatric communication needs. You’ll join a network of forward-thinking professionals who share best practices, celebrate outcomes, and support one another through transitions and new experiences.
