Mid Level
Step into a dynamic Travel Physical Therapist role anchored in the historic and lively city of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Beginning December 22, 2025, for a multi-week assignment, you’ll bring clinical excellence to diverse care settings, guiding patients through rehabilitation that restores function, reduces pain, and reclaims independence. This assignment guarantees 36 hours per week, with a competitive weekly pay range of $2,520–$2,647, and the potential for extensions based on performance, facility needs, and patient outcomes. If you’re a PT who thrives on variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact, this opportunity invites you to make a lasting difference while exploring a coastal community known for its arts, culture, and maritime heritage. You’ll join a team that values your expertise and supports you every step of the way, from onboarding through successful patient discharges and beyond.

Massachusetts offers more than exceptional clinical practice; it’s a gateway to scenic towns and coastal beauty. New Bedford’s working harbor, the cobblestoned streets of its historic neighborhoods, and nearby shorelines provide an inspiring backdrop for your professional journey. The region invites you to savor fresh seafood, stroll historic districts, and witness a neighborhood that blends resilience with creativity. The beauty of Cape Cod, the tranquility of riverside trails, and the vibrant offerings of nearby Boston—museums, parks, concerts, and renowned dining—create a balanced backdrop that nurtures both your focus and your well-being. For clinicians who enjoy travel, this assignment also opens opportunities to work in other U.S. locations over time, broadening your clinical exposure, expanding your professional network, and keeping your skills sharp across diverse patient populations and care settings.

In this travel PT role, you will conduct comprehensive patient evaluations; design, implement, and supervise evidence-based therapy plans; lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, manual techniques, and equipment management; monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly; and document outcomes in the patient record. You’ll coordinate with physicians, nursing teams, and family caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and safe discharges, while actively participating in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives. Your professional growth will be supported through access to continuing education resources, mentorship from seasoned colleagues, and opportunities to pursue advanced certifications within physical therapy, including vestibular rehab, geriatrics, or orthotic and assistive device optimization. The package includes a competitive bonus, housing assistance or stipends, and the potential for contract extensions that translate into longer assignments or recurring rotations. You’ll also benefit from 24/7 support from a dedicated clinical operations team, designed to streamline onboarding, housing logistics, travel arrangements, and rapid resolution of any challenges you encounter on the road. Our program is built to minimize administrative burden so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care and refining your clinical craft.

Our company values your dedication and supports your advancement every step of the way. We’re committed to empowering staff with clear pathways for career progression, ongoing skill development, and a collaborative, respectful work environment. You’ll join a culture that celebrates clinical excellence, open communication, interdisciplinary teamwork, and a patient-centered philosophy. Whether you’re collaborating with PT aides, therapists in other specialties, or facility leadership, you’ll find a supportive ecosystem that prioritizes safety, professional autonomy, and work-life balance. We invest in your growth with structured feedback, opportunities to take on lead roles in program development, and access to resources that help you stay at the forefront of physical therapy practice.
