Hallock offers a inviting small-town atmosphere with a strong sense of belonging, where you can build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues while enjoying the region’s outdoor opportunities. Beyond Hallock, the opportunity to work in various locations across the United States means you can explore different care settings, expand your professional network, and gain exposure to diverse regulatory environments, all while delivering consistent, high-quality LTC nursing care.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As the traveling LTC RN, you will lead and coordinate comprehensive resident care, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members. You’ll monitor clinical status, monitor for changes in conditions, document thoroughly, ensure safety with evidence-based practices, and promote rehabilitation goals that emphasize independence and comfort. You’ll mentor less experienced staff, support a culture of evidence-based care, and seize opportunities for professional growth through continuing education, certifications, and leadership experiences within the LTC specialty. The position offers competitive weekly pay between $2,099 and $2,241, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a duration of several weeks, along with extension opportunities that allow you to lengthen your assignment if you and the facility are a good match. You’ll have access to robust benefits, including a signing incentive where applicable, housing assistance to ease transition, and the flexibility of extended contracts to maximize your time in areas you most enjoy. A dedicated support team is available 24/7 to assist you while you travel with the company, ensuring you always have a reliable point of contact for scheduling, clinical questions, or housing and travel logistics.
Company values guide every interaction: the organization is committed to empowering its nursing staff, prioritizing your career advancement, and fostering a supportive work environment where collaboration, compassion, and clinical excellence thrive. You’ll find a culture that celebrates your contributions, recognizes the importance of career development, and invests in mentorship, continuing education, and leadership pathways within the LTC domain.
Start Date and Logistics: This assignment begins March 9, 2026, with a multi-week structure designed to honor continuity of care for residents while providing flexibility to balance professional goals with personal commitments. The role’s design emphasizes consistent patient contact, meaningful care planning, and measurable outcomes that reflect your expertise in geriatric nursing, end-of-life care considerations, mobility support, and symptom management in long-term care. With guaranteed hours and predictable weekly compensation, you can plan with confidence while you explore Minnesota’s unique landscapes and the broader U.S. care landscape through varied facility experiences.
