Step into a transformative role as a Travel Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery in Los Angeles, California, beginning March 16, 2026 for a multi-week assignment designed to empower you to shape newborn futures while expanding your clinical horizon. This opportunity places you at the heart of one of the nation’s most vibrant medical communities, where you’ll work alongside seasoned obstetric teams, support families through life-changing moments, and grow your expertise in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Location Benefits: Los Angeles blends cutting-edge healthcare with a tapestry of neighborhoods, each offering distinct experiences. You’ll have access to top-tier medical facilities that attract complex obstetric cases, contributing to your skill set as you care for low-risk pregnancies and high-risk complications alike. The city’s cultural diversity provides rich learning opportunities through a broad patient population and collaborative multidisciplinary teams. When you’re not caring for patients, you can explore pristine beaches along the Pacific, stroll evocative urban districts, and enjoy endless outdoor recreation. For a nurse who values mobility, the program also provides options to rotate to other remarkable locations across the United States, delivering unparalleled exposure to different hospital cultures, protocols, and patient demographics—strengthening your career versatility while maintaining the excitement of travel nursing.
Role Specifics and Benefits: As an L&D RN on tour, you’ll deliver comprehensive labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. Your responsibilities include monitoring labor progress, assisting in normal and high-risk deliveries, securing neonatal stabilization when needed, supporting cesarean and vaginal births, and coordinating with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatric teams to ensure optimal outcomes. You’ll provide lactation support, educate families about newborn care and recovery, document meticulously in electronic health records, and participate in unit protocols that emphasize patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. This role offers clear paths for professional growth within the obstetric specialty, including opportunities to enhance skills in fetal assessment, neonatal resuscitation, high-risk obstetrics, and leadership responsibilities within your assigned unit. Benefits include a competitive compensation package with a weekly pay rate of $2,470–$2,593, a sign-on-style bonus, and housing assistance designed to ease relocation and travel logistics. You’ll also have the chance to extend your engagement through contract extensions, giving you continuity in a thriving clinical environment. Comprehensive support is available 24/7 as you travel with the company, including dedicated travel coordinators, clinical mentors, and a robust resource network to resolve housing, credentialing, and orientation needs swiftly. The structure promotes work-life balance within a demanding specialty, with predictable scheduling where possible and clear communication to maximize both patient outcomes and personal well-being.
