Travel Physical Therapist Job
Marysville, CA
Contracted
Adventist Health Rideout
Mid Level
Take the next step in your Physical Therapy career with an exciting travel opportunity in California, focusing on the Physical Therapist specialty in Marysville. This role is crafted for dedicated clinicians who want to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives while exploring a dynamic professional landscape. As you guide patients through mobility restoration, functional training, gait reeducation, and pain relief, you’ll see firsthand how your expertise translates into restored independence and improved confidence. Marysville’s welcoming communities and access to Northern California’s outdoor treasures create a balanced backdrop for a rewarding assignment, where weekend adventures in pristine lakes, rivers, and rolling foothills complement a fulfilling clinical practice. California’s landscapes—from river valleys to scenic byways—invite you to experience diverse settings, whether you’re working with an outpatient population or a facility that values skilled rehabilitation.
Location benefits extend beyond Marysville. Working in this area offers the chance to experience Northern California’s distinctive blend of small-town charm and easy access to larger hubs, including Sacramento and surrounding regions. You’ll have the opportunity to service facilities across California and, when available, extend your assignments to other locations within the U.S., broadening your professional network and sharpening your adaptability. The region’s climate supports year-round activity and therapy programming, from early morning gait training on community walking paths to therapeutic sessions in well-equipped clinics. For those who love exploration, California’s diverse environments—from serene lakes to forested trails and vibrant urban centers—provide a natural extension of your professional journey, enriching your perspective as a clinician while keeping your lifestyle vibrant and inspired.
In this travel PT role, you’ll own key responsibilities that leverage your clinical autonomy and collaboration. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized PT plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and gait training, while carefully selecting modalities to optimize recovery and comfort. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in electronic health records with accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education for long-term self-management. You’ll have the chance to mentor entry-level staff, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. The role also invites professional growth through exposure to diverse patient populations, settings, and care paradigms, enabling you to refine assessment skills, broaden clinical reasoning, and expand your PT toolkit over the course of the assignment.
Beyond clinical duties, you’ll benefit from a robust support structure designed for travel PTs. A competitive compensation package includes a weekly pay range of $2,332 to $2,561, reflecting your expertise and the complexity of cases you’ll encounter. A bonus option recognizes outstanding performance and patient outcomes, while housing assistance helps simplify logistics so you can focus on patient care and professional development. There are extension opportunities at the end of a contract that allow you to continue contributing your strengths where they’re most impactful, or to transition to new assignments that align with your evolving interests. You’ll also enjoy round-the-clock support from our dedicated travel team—24/7 assistance to help you navigate housing, travel, licensing, and any on-site needs—so you’re never alone on the road or in a new facility. This level of comprehensive support is designed to minimize friction, maximize clinical impact, and reinforce your confidence as you deliver high-quality PT services in varied environments.
Our company values a workforce built on empowerment, ongoing career advancement, and a supportive, inclusive culture. We invest in clinicians who want to grow their expertise, assume leadership opportunities, and contribute to a collaborative network that shares knowledge and resources. You’ll be part of a community that recognizes your patient-centered approach, honors your professional judgment, and provides pathways to specialty certifications, mentorship, and cross-site collaboration—all while maintaining a respectful, team-focused atmosphere that prioritizes work–life balance and well-being. We celebrate your contributions and are committed to creating a work setting where you feel valued, heard, and supported as you expand your impact across the country.
