- Key responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, including initial and ongoing assessments, monitoring health status, medication administration within licensure, wound care, and treatment implementation. Support activities of daily living, assist with mobility and transfers, promote safety and infection control, and help residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.
