Role specifics and benefits:
- Key responsibilities: maintain sterile technique and OR readiness; prepare the surgical field and equipment; assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments, retractors, and sutures; manage specimen labeling and documentation; monitor equipment and anticipate needs to keep procedures on schedule; participate in turnover and room setup to minimize delays; uphold patient safety and infection control standards at all times.
