Role specifics and benefits: As the Special Procedures Tech, you’ll be responsible for preparing patients and equipment, assisting with interventional procedures such as venous access, embolizations, biopsies, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions. You’ll maintain sterile technique, manage contrast administration, optimize image quality, and ensure patient safety throughout the peri-procedural process. Your role includes monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, documenting findings, and contributing to QA/QC initiatives that enhance department performance.
