- Core responsibilities: In Labor and Delivery, you’ll monitor labor progress, perform fetal surveillance, assist with labor support and delivery, manage obstetric analgesia and anesthesia coordination, perform newborn assessments and resuscitation as needed, support high-risk obstetrics patients, and provide postnatal care and education to families. You’ll collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure safe, respectful, and efficient births.
