Role Specifics and Benefits:
- Responsibilities: Conduct thorough pre‑procedure assessments, verify consent, review imaging and history; assist radiologists with catheter‑based therapies; maintain sterile technique and monitor sedation under physician orders; ensure patient safety during procedures and in recovery; document care and responses; provide education to patients and families about procedures, risks, and recovery; coordinate with techs, units, and physicians to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
- Growth and development: Deepen expertise in interventional radiology modalities, including angiography, biopsy guidance, venous access, embolization, and imaging‑guided therapies. Access ongoing training, case reviews, simulations, and credentialing support to advance toward senior IR nursing roles.
- Compensation, housing, and extensions: Earn a competitive weekly pay of 2,686–2,909 with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Eligible for a sign‑on or completion bonus, housing assistance (provider housing or stipend), and options to extend assignments to broaden experience and form stronger professional connections.
