Role Specifics and Benefits
As a Med Surg RN on this travel assignment, you’ll lead and support comprehensive patient care across a range of acute and subacute presentations. Key responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, documentation in electronic health records, administration of medications and therapies, IV management, wound care, and monitoring for changes in status. You’ll collaborate with physicians, case managers, palliative and rehab teams, and family members to develop and implement individualized care plans, with a focus on safe transitions from hospital to home or to another level of care.
