Embark on a transformative journey as a traveling Registered Nurse in Med Surg Tele, delivering high-caliber patient care in Tucson, Arizona. This opportunity places you at the heart of a specialty where precise clinical skills, compassionate communication, and swift decision-making converge to improve outcomes for medically complex patients. As you navigate the rolling landscapes of the Southwest, you’ll also witness why Arizona captivates with its enduring beauty—from the starlit desert nights to the dramatic red rock backdrops that frame Tucson’s outdoor sanctuaries. Picture sunrise hikes along the Santa Catalina Mountains, evenings tasting the rich flavors of Sonoran cuisine, and weekends exploring the serene spaces of Saguaro National Park. In this role you won’t just treat patients—you’ll help families understand treatment plans, celebrate small victories, and leave patients stronger than when they arrived. The impact you make will resonate long after discharge, all while you gain everyday inspiration from a region famed for resilience and warmth.

Location benefits extend beyond Tucson’s sunlit streets and cultural vibrancy. Working in this dynamic city means enjoying a balanced lifestyle with accessible outdoor recreation, thriving arts, reputable medical centers, and a welcoming community that values healthcare professionals. You’ll also have the flexibility of expanding your horizons across the United States, taking on assignments in diverse settings—from bustling metropolitan hospitals to quieter community facilities. Each placement offers you the chance to broaden your clinical repertoire, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and cultivate connections that accelerate your professional growth. The experience of adapting to different patient populations, workflows, and technology platforms will sharpen your critical thinking and telemetry expertise, enriching your resume and elevating your confidence in every room you enter.

In Med Surg Tele, your responsibilities center on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care while leveraging telemetry to monitor cardiac rhythms and stabilize complex cases. You’ll assess rapidly changing conditions, administer medications, manage IV therapies, collaborate with physicians and case managers, and coordinate discharge planning to support seamless transitions home. You may rotate through a spectrum of acuity levels, requiring meticulous documentation, vigilant infection control, and timely escalation when clinical indicators demand it. Your role also includes mentoring junior staff, supporting peers, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance safety and efficiency. This position is designed for ongoing professional growth—from refining post-operative care plans to strengthening telemetry interpretation and contributing to patient education. To support your development, we offer pathways to expand into lead or preceptorship roles, with opportunities to extend assignments as you demonstrate reliability and leadership.

Our compensation and benefits reflect a commitment to rewarding your expertise and dedication. Expect competitive weekly pay in the range of $1,818 to $1,983, with guaranteed minimum hours of 24 per week. In addition to strong compensation, you’ll receive housing assistance to ease transitions between assignments and a clear pathway for contract extensions, giving you the stability you need to plan ahead while you explore new locations. A key pillar of our program is extensive, around‑the‑clock support—24/7 assistance available to you as you travel with the company, ensuring you always have a reliable partner on the road. We also emphasize a robust benefits package, professional development stipends, and recognition for clinical excellence, all designed to help you thrive as you advance in your specialty.

At the core, our company is committed to empowering your career and cultivating a supportive work environment. We place a premium on your development, offering ongoing education, mentorship opportunities, and a culture that encourages curiosity and collaboration. You’ll join teams that celebrate achievement, respect work‑life balance, and champion patient advocacy as part of daily practice. The emphasis on transparent communication, consistent staffing, and practical resources helps you feel valued and secure as you chart your path in travel nursing.
