Embark on a rewarding journey as a Registered Nurse in PACU, delivering critical post-anesthesia care in Clearlake, California, with the possibility to serve facilities across the United States. This travel assignment puts you at the center of patient recovery, guiding people from awakening to stable, comfortable discharge while you expand your clinical horizons. If you crave meaningful work in a landscape famed for its natural beauty—lakes, forests, and outdoor adventures—this is the role for you. You’ll join a team that respects your expertise and supports your growth, every step of the way. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, evidence-based practice, and compassionate communication, ensuring you feel empowered to make a tangible difference for patients and families.

Location benefits: Clearlake offers a relaxed, family-friendly environment in Northern California’s Lake County. Expect friendly communities, access to outdoor recreation, and a pace that promotes work–life balance. The region provides opportunities to enjoy boating, hiking, and scenic weekend escapes, all while contributing to high-quality perioperative care. Living and working in Clearlake means you can reconnect with the rhythm of nature and enjoy a more approachable cost of living compared to larger urban centers, without sacrificing professional opportunities. For those who value variety, the role also enables assignments in diverse U.S. locations, exposing you to different hospital cultures, patient populations, and clinical protocols. You’ll gain flexibility and breadth without sacrificing the support you need to succeed, building a robust professional network across the country.

Role specifics and benefits: In PACU, you’ll assess and care for patients recovering from anesthesia, monitor airway and breathing, track heart rate and blood pressure, manage pain and nausea, and respond quickly to any post-op changes. You’ll document observations, participate in handoffs with anesthesia and surgical teams, and help ensure safe transitions from PACU to the next phase of recovery. The role emphasizes ongoing professional development within PACU through exposure to varying case types and settings, with opportunities to pursue certifications and expand scope. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced PACU nurses, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative technicians, benefiting from mentorship and collaborative problem-solving that accelerates your clinical confidence. The assignment offers competitive benefits: weekly pay between $2,002 and $2,056, housing assistance to ease relocation, potential sign-on bonuses, and extension opportunities if you and the site are aligned on priorities. You’ll also have access to 24/7 support from the company while you travel, giving you real-time help, guidance, and resources at any hour during onboarding and assignments. A structured orientation, credential checks, and ongoing education opportunities help you settle in quickly and advance your practice, while flexible scheduling and predictable—but not guaranteed—hours support your personal plans.

Start date and contract structure: The assignment begins on 03/30/2026 and runs for an extended period of weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance, site needs, and your professional goals. Hours are not guaranteed, but you’ll be supported with consistent staffing arrangements and a clear pathway to continued opportunities across the network. The program emphasizes efficient onboarding, compliance training, and a seamless transition between assignments, so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care from day one.

Company values: Our partner organization is committed to empowering nursing staff, prioritizing career advancement, and maintaining a collaborative, supportive work environment. We invest in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing education so you can sharpen your clinical skills, pursue leadership tracks, and build a resilient, fulfilling career in perioperative care.
