Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
Kealakekua, HI
Contracted
Kona Community Hospital
Mid Level
Embark on a meaningful Radiology journey as a CT Tech, where precise imaging supports patient care daily. This travel assignment in Hawaii puts you at the forefront of CT technology, helping clinicians solve complex cases and deliver timely results. You’ll begin on 03/02/2026, joining a team that values skill, safety, and patient comfort as much as speed. Imagine the impact: optimizing CT protocols for diverse populations, reducing scan times without sacrificing quality, and guiding treatment decisions with confidence. Your expertise will translate into clearer diagnoses and smoother patient experiences. Off shift, the islands invite exploration—sunlit coves, forests, and volcanic coastlines offer renewal. The role also opens broad opportunities to work across locations in the United States, expanding your clinical repertoire with the stability of a trusted travel partner.
Location benefits: Kealakekua sits on Hawaii’s Kona coast, offering a warm climate and a lifestyle that blends focus with outdoor wonder. A welcoming community, easy access to snorkeling, hiking, farms, and markets, plus beaches and cultural events, make island life rewarding. The assignment may include rotations to other facilities within our network, exposing you to different CT scanners, imaging modalities, and patient populations. You’ll gain breadth in imaging workflows while benefiting from the safety and structure of a national travel program. Our travel concierge is available 24/7 to assist with housing, credentialing, and daily needs, so you can stay focused on high‑quality imaging and compassionate patient care.
Role specifics and benefits: As a CT Tech, you’ll perform high‑quality CT imaging across adult and pediatric patients, position patients with care, configure scanner parameters, and enforce radiation safety. You’ll assist with IV contrast administration, monitor for adverse reactions, and coordinate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of studies. The role blends technical mastery with patient empathy—explaining procedures, calming anxious patients, and maintaining efficient workflows in a busy suite. You’ll engage in quality assurance tasks, dose tracking, and protocol optimization, and contribute to imaging improvement projects. This position offers growth: continuing education, opportunities to master advanced post‑processing, and a path to extended assignments. We offer a sign‑on bonus (where eligible), housing assistance, and the option to extend contracts. You’ll also benefit from 24/7 support from our team while traveling. The weekly pay ranges from $2,230 to $2,272; note these figures are estimates and may vary. Final compensation and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during hiring, and extensions are possible based on facility needs and your performance.
Company values: We’re committed to empowering radiology professionals, supporting growth, and fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment. Expect mentorship from experienced colleagues, transparent leadership, and resources designed to enhance clinical confidence. Whether you’re seeking short or longer assignments, you’ll find a culture that prioritizes safety, patient outcomes, and your development. We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and support well‑being with flexible scheduling and accessible leadership. By joining our national travel program, you gain a broad network of peers, opportunities to share best practices, and initiatives that elevate the standard of care you deliver every day.
