Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Santa Fe, NM
Contracted
Casa Real
Mid Level
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, where your compassionate hands and clinical expertise help residents live with dignity, comfort, and independence. This multi-week assignment begins on 03/02/2026 and offers an opportunity to deepen your practice in a setting that blends clinical complexity with meaningful daily interactions. As a trusted member of a dedicated care team, you’ll deliver essential nursing services, administer medications, monitor patient status, and support residents and families through the aging process. You’ll have room to grow your skills in geriatric assessment, care planning, and coordinated interventions, while experiencing the pride that comes from making a tangible difference in the lives of older adults. From meticulous charting to collaborative rounds, you’ll be the steady, reassuring presence that residents rely on.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, is your base for this assignment, a city famed for its high-desert scenery, sunlit adobe architecture, and a thriving arts and cuisine scene. Here you’ll enjoy mild winters and climate conducive to outdoor exploration, from sunrise hikes in the nearby mountains to strolls through historic plazas and unique galleries. When you’re off duty, you can immerse yourself in cultural festivals, world-class dining, and the warmth of a community that values wellness and connection. For clinicians seeking broader horizons, the program also provides opportunities to work at partner facilities across the United States, offering a spectrum of senior-care environments—from bustling urban campuses to tranquil rural communities—while you expand your professional portfolio and diversify your experience across settings and patient populations.
In this LTC nursing role, you’ll perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor residents for changes in condition, manage wounds, and support activities of daily living. You’ll participate in care conferences, help implement individualized care plans, document accurately in electronic health records, and collaborate with RNs, therapists, social workers, and families to ensure continuity of care. The position invites ongoing learning through mentoring from experienced LTC teams and structured opportunities to pursue geriatric certifications or role expansion, such as charge nurse or team lead pathways. Our compensation reflects the value of your expertise, with a competitive weekly pay range of 1,002 to 1,048 dollars, plus a sign-on bonus and housing assistance to ease transition. We also offer extension opportunities so you can continue your rewarding assignment with flexible rotations, shifts, or new locations within the network, helping you build a stable, long-term professional footprint. Central to the experience is our 24/7 support system; you’ll have ready access to travel coordinators, clinical consultants, and a dedicated help desk to troubleshoot scheduling, credentialing, or clinical questions whenever you need them. This is a role designed to honor your skill while continuously expanding your scope of practice in a supportive, dynamic team environment.
Beyond the day-to-day tasks, the organization is grounded in a commitment to empower staff, celebrate expertise, and foster a supportive, collaborative environment. Our culture prioritizes open communication, ongoing learning, and opportunities to advance your career through internal mobility, continuing education resources, and leadership development tracks. Whether you’re navigating complex care plans, mentoring newer nurses, or exploring leadership roles, you’ll find mentors and peers who invest in your professional growth and well-being. We recognize that compassionate, well-supported clinicians deliver the highest quality of care—and we’re dedicated to ensuring you have the tools, resources, and encouragement to thrive.
If you’re ready to impact lives, expand your LTC expertise, and join a network that values your contributions, apply today. This is more than a placement—it’s a chance to grow within a community that supports your career aspirations and personal well-being. Begin your Santa Fe journey or explore additional U.S. locations with a trusted partner that stands by you every step of the way.
