Travel Physical Therapist Job

Franklin, MN
Contracted
Franklin Restorative Care Center - FWS
Mid Level
Step into a pivotal role as a Physical Therapist with our travel healthcare program, where your expertise fuels recovery, independence, and quality of life for patients across diverse settings. In Franklin, Minnesota, and beyond, you’ll bring evidence-based care, creative rehabilitation strategies, and compassionate coaching to people reclaiming mobility after injury or illness. This assignment begins on 02/16/2026 and runs for multiple weeks, offering flexibility to align with your professional and personal plans. Visualize your impact as you guide patients through movement, strength, and confidence—while exploring the scenic landscapes and small-town charm that Minnesota offers, from lake shores to woodland trails and vibrant community events.

Working in Minnesota’s Franklin and across the U.S. gives you a blend of predictable patient populations and novel environments. In Franklin and nearby communities you’ll experience a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with strong local healthcare networks, outdoor recreation, and a thriving arts scene. If you crave broader exploration, the program supports placements in other U.S. locations, enabling you to immerse yourself in different clinical settings, hospital systems, and patient demographics. Minnesota’s seasonal beauty—summer boating on pristine lakes, autumn colors, winter recreation—enhances the well-being and inspiration you bring to your practice and your patients.

Your role centers on delivering comprehensive physical therapy services: conducting patient assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, and educating patients and families on home exercises and fall prevention. You’ll monitor progress, adjust plans for optimal outcomes, document care in a timely, compliant manner, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy assistants to ensure seamless care transitions. As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities to specialize in neuro rehab, orthopedics, pediatrics, or geriatric rehab, expand your clinical leadership, and influence program development. We offer competitive weekly pay of $2,301-$2,375, with the freedom of a travel schedule and the potential for contract extensions. In addition, a bonus program recognizes your contributions, housing assistance helps you settle quickly, and extension opportunities let you continue making an impact. Our travel teams provide 24/7 support—round-the-clock assistance from a dedicated clinical and travel coordination staff to troubleshoot housing, credentialing, or scheduling issues, so you can focus on care delivery. Additionally, you will receive paid travel time, credentialing support, licensure reimbursement, and access to state-of-the-art therapy equipment across facilities.

As you gain experience, you’ll have opportunities to expand your horizons with professional development, cross-site collaborations, and exposure to diverse patient populations. You’ll also have the chance to participate in research initiatives, apply innovative rehabilitation technologies, and contribute to evidence-based practice across settings. Our network supports you in balancing clinical excellence with personal well-being, enabling sustained impact to patients and communities while refining your own practice.

At the core, the company is committed to empowering its staff, investing in ongoing education, certifications, and clear pathways for career advancement. A supportive work environment prioritizes open communication, mentorship, and work-life balance, helping you grow from clinician to leader while maintaining clinical excellence and personal well-being. You’ll join a community that values your expertise, respects your goals, and celebrates your successes as you expand your professional horizons. Our dedicated team provides onboarding, mentorship, and structured career development plans, including opportunities to precept new therapists, pursue specialty certifications, and advance to leadership roles.
