In this role, you’ll lead and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for residents in long-term care, focusing on safety, comfort, and continuity. Your primary responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, development and adjustment of individualized care plans, administration and monitoring of medications, wound care management, pain control, and rapid response to changes in condition. You’ll lead interdisciplinary rounds, educate residents and families about diagnoses, treatment options, falls prevention, hygiene, nutrition, and rehabilitation goals, and document meticulously in electronic health records. You’ll ensure infection control standards are met, monitor for adverse events, and advocate for residents’ rights and preferences.
