As an IR Travel RN, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting interventional radiology procedures—from pre-procedure assessments and sterile technique to post-procedure monitoring and comprehensive patient education. You’ll collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and nursing teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and smooth procedure flow. You’ll manage documentation, assist with imaging-guided interventions, and participate in post-procedure care, pain management, and recovery protocols. This position emphasizes critical thinking, precise skill application, and compassionate, patient-centered communication. You’ll have the chance to expand your proficiency with a diverse caseload, exposure to cutting-edge IR techniques, and opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
