Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Geneva, NY
Contracted
Living Center at Geneva- North
Mid Level
Step into a rewarding role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, where your hands, your judgment, and your compassionate presence shape the daily lives of residents who deserve dignity and comfort. This contract opportunity begins on 03/03/2026 and runs for a defined number of weeks with the promise of extension opportunities for those who excel and connect with the community they serve. In this role you’ll join a network of caring professionals dedicated to offering steady, person-centered care in a setting that honors both residents and their families. Picture yourself making a tangible difference while exploring the scenic corners of New York and the charming town of Geneva, a place famed for its lakefront beauty, wineries, and vibrant cultural life. Beyond Geneva, additional placements across New York State and various U.S. locations open doors to new experiences, allowing you to broaden your clinical horizons while keeping the heart of LTC at the core of your practice.

Working in Geneva and the broader New York corridor means access to a spectrum of living environments—from intimate, home‑like facilities to larger communities with robust interdisciplinary teams. The Finger Lakes region presents kayaking, hiking, wine trails, and window shopping in charming towns along the lake; the state itself offers world-renowned museums, outdoor adventures, seasonal festivals, and a culinary scene that celebrates local farm-to-table ingredients. For the travel clinician, there’s the flexibility to rotate among facilities across the U.S., enriching your clinical repertoire while maintaining a supportive community back home through our 24/7 travel support and your dedicated clinical liaison. The combination of geographically varied placements and a strong, values-driven team creates a unique platform to grow both personally and professionally.

Key responsibilities include delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, administering medications safely, monitoring vital signs, managing wounds and transfers, and assisting residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. You’ll contribute to care planning sessions, document accurately, and communicate changes in condition promptly to the care team. This role is designed for growth: you’ll have access to continuing education, on‑the‑job mentorship, and opportunities to expand your scope within long‑term care, including leadership pathways such as precepting new hires or coordinating unit routines. Competitive benefits complement your clinical work: a weekly pay range of $1,226 to $1,329, a sign‑on or performance bonus where applicable, housing assistance to reduce relocation stress, and the possibility of contract extension on terms that reflect your contributions. We understand the importance of a stable support system, so you’ll receive comprehensive support from a dedicated team, including 24/7 assistance while you travel with the company, travel logistics help, and access to resources that help you navigate facilities, schedules, and patient needs confidently. While guaranteed hours are not a fixed promise in this program, you’ll appreciate clear expectations, transparent communication, and an environment that respects your time and your expertise.

Our partner organization is built on empowering caregivers to advance their careers within a supportive, collaborative culture. We invest in your growth, recognize your impact, and place you in settings where your clinical judgment is trusted and your professional voice is heard. If you are a compassionate LPN who thrives in the long‑term care setting, values teamwork, and seeks a dynamic schedule that respects your life outside work, this is your invitation to join a community that celebrates your contribution and your development. Ready to embark on a journey that blends meaningful care with the opportunity to explore diverse places and people? Apply now to begin your next chapter, know you are supported, and help shape the standard of front-line LTC nursing.
